Hamilton County Schools wants every student to be #FirstDayReady! To get our school campuses ready for students on the first day, we need the help of community volunteers. Join us on Saturday, July 29th as community members, churches, families, and organizations work together to refresh and beautify our campuses to welcome back students for the new school year. You can choose a volunteer project by school, location, time, or by your specific skills and interests - with over 30 schools participating, there is sure to be a project for you.

Family volunteers are welcome, but children under 16 must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

We welcome and encourage group volunteers! Please share this event with your colleagues, church, or other groups. Volunteering is always more fun with friends. Our Family & Community Engagement Department is happy to assist you in selecting a project that meets your group's needs.

Unable to volunteer but still want to support the event? Sponsorship is available through the HCS Foundation. Some projects are also in need of donated materials and loaned tools.
